Why is there no phone/video call?

Cloudesk is chat-first on purpose: you get a complete written record, faster turnaround, and no scheduling friction. Monthly plans can schedule a PM-only live screen-share when you want it — that exception is logged. There are no specialist calls and no private client↔Coder channels.
